Monday - Saturday, February 6 - 11, 2023 – MJEC Engineers Week Student Contest First Round Judging - to be done as your schedule permits during the week
There will be two rounds of judging. The deadline for schools to participate is Friday, February 3, 2023. Teams will submit their projects in pdf format, preferably with pictures. The Contest Chairman will organize the entries and send them via email to the judges, who will review and score the projects as their schedules permit. There will be a virtual meeting on Monday, February 13, for judges who can attend to discuss the results and determine which projects will advance to the Championship Round. Schools will be notified of the advancing projects no later than Tuesday, February 14, 2023.
Saturday, February 25, 2023 – MJEC Engineers Week Student Contest Championship Round
Time: 9:00 AM – Noon (9:00 student set-up begins, 9:30 judges assemble for instructions, 10:00 judging begins)
Location: Southwest Tennessee Community College, Macon Cove Campus, Nabors Auditorium
Teams selected from the first round of judging will present their projects and answer questions from the judges, local professionals from many different engineering disciplines.
